Tucks, hand embroidery and girls who twirl 💕 #moms Tucks, hand embroidery and girls who twirl 💕 #momswhosew #sewingforgirls
Pretty little lady in her new fall dress 💕. This o Pretty little lady in her new fall dress 💕. This one was fun- it's a collars etc. tuck dress in linen from @farmhousefabrics.

I hand embroidered the little sunflowers on the center pleat to make it work for all of fall, not just Halloween.

I used the @childrenscornerstore blog/tutorial to do a ruffle neck instead of a collar at the neckline. I also folded the hem of the sleeve over twice and used one line of shirring to finish off the sleeve. It's a trick I came up with to get that little ruffle on the bottom of the sleeve easily.

How cute would this pattern be in the sleeveless version for summer?

Every night we ask the kids what they're thankful Every night we ask the kids what they're thankful for, they take turns telling us whatever struck them as most important that day. John Luke and Robby always say, "I'm 'thank you for' _______" instead of "I'm thankful for_______" and it always makes me smile.

I'm "thank you" for all of you this Thanksgiving. I hope yours is filled with love, laughter, and yummy food!

What a fun, meaningful evening we had last night a What a fun, meaningful evening we had last night at the @baptisthealthhardin Donor Appreciation Gala! The company, food, and cause were all top notch 💕. All evidenced by how few photos I got...turns out I was just having fun 😊

This dress was made with a remnant from @textile_fabrics_nashville using the New Look pattern 6524 and some fun ostrich feather trim!

This was a quick one! Honestly, it took me longer This was a quick one! Honestly, it took me longer to make the reel than it did to complete the "sconce skirts."

I have been loving all the pleated lampshades I've been seeing but wasn't ready to hot glue on my brand new light fixtures (we built the house and moved in last year). So I opted to create "sconce skirts" by making elasticized covers for these sconces. If I love them for awhile, I'll commit to the real deal, but for now I'll smile every time I see these! #grandmillennial #grandmillenialdecor #spoonflower

I cannot sing my praises loudly enough for this fa I cannot sing my praises loudly enough for this fabric. It's organic, the weave is pretty loose, the texture is lovely, it's so so soft, it wrinkles beautifully (didn't know that was a real thing) and it is quite possibly my new favorite to smock (I did add baby interfacing to the area I was pleating). If you haven't gotten your hands on it...run. It's @farmhousefabrics organic cotton "fancies" from @spechlervogeltextiles.
